Up for sale is my personal passion project for the past few years. A set of all 19 Dallas Cowboys players in the Ring of Honor, the highest accolade a Cowboy can receive (better than the Hall of Fame in my opinion ;). Each player is represented as a six-inch McFarlane figure, and these are absolutely unique works of passion and love. I have represented every uniform the Cowboys have worn, excluding the double-star throwback and the current color rush jersey. No member of the Ring ever wore those uniforms (though I’m already working on Romo, Witten and Ware for their eventual induction). You’ll see Bob Lilly in the classic home whites, but with the helmet with one stripe on the star, which was only worn for one game during the transition from the triple-stripe jerseys of 64-66. Drew Pearson is in the navy uniform with the close-set outline on the numbers, rather than the off-set white stripe, a jersey that was only worn twice. Lee Roy Jordan wears the 1976 helmet with the red white and blue stripes to celebrate the Bicentennial. Troy Aikman wears the distinctive Logo Athletic hat he was often seen in on the sidelines. Emmitt Smith is in the one-off throwback from the 1994 75th Anniversary program. Many of these figures were extensively resculpted and customized to better resemble the players themselves, and aren’t simple repaints. This literally took me years to complete, and as they’ve been completed, they’ve been displayed in a smoke free home. I even touched up some details before listing them. The fun is in the creating for me, so I’ll start another arduous journey when these are gone. Included in this lot are all of the figures pictured. Any true Cowboys fan would be delighted to have these in their collection. The history is palpable. These are all unique, one of a kind pieces of art created by me.
