For your consideration is this vintage and original Riddell Kra-Lite II Micro-Fit football helmet from August 1969 as shown by the date sticker in top of the helmet. This was Riddell’s first water-padding system which which came out during 1969. This is definitely one of the more rare helmet models you will find. This beauty is a custom made one of a kind with vintage jaw pads and OPO facemask just as All Time Cowboys great running back Walt Garrison wore for the last couple of years of his career (see photo). Vintage helmet was painted Cowboys silver with lots of over spray as would have been the case for a helmet used more than one year. Also helmet comes with proper Cowboys decals and striping for that era. To round out the package this amazing specimen has appropriate blue dymo tape of Garrison’s name, appropriately placed on rear of helmet, and has Garrison’s #32 written above the earhole.
