For your consideration is this authentic original and vintage Riddell TK2 Kra-Lite II football helmet from 1972 as shown by the ring date stamp above the ear hole. We have painted this amazing helmet in appropriate Cowboys blue-silver paint and added iconic Cowboys Star decals and striping to create this custom one of a kind beauty. We have then attached an appropriate authentic and original Schutt NJOP lineman cage facemask, made in 1969, just as fan favorite and All-Time Cowboys great lineman John Niland wore in 1972 as the Cowboys won their first Super Bowl! This is not a replica in any way. Everything piece of equipment on this helmet is the real deal- a RIDDell helmet from 1972 just like worn by many NFL stars. Helmet also has authentic and original vintage leather jaw pads from the era. To round out the package we have attached an authentic two toned chin strap, and appropriate blue Dymo tape with Niland’s name, appropriately placed on rear of helmet, and even added #76 on white tape inside the helmet as might have been done by equipment managers.
