This listing is for a full size customized authentic collectible Schutt Air XP Boise State football helmet. The same as what is worn on the field. It was never displayed so is in pretty much like new condition. Never worn so padding looks brand new as well. I’m the original owner. Comes from a smoke and pet free home. When I was preparing the helmet for sale, two rivets that were pained blue by Schutt were damaged. It’s the top ones of the three on both sides of the helmet by the facemask. I was dabbing the helmet, with duct tape, to get rid of any particles that landed on it in the air before boxing. The tape, by accident, removed the paint from the top rivets. The helmet shell is fine but the top rivet on each side of the helmet is now silver not blue. It’s not something that I would even have noticed as an educated collector. I’ve accounted for this damage in the price. The chrome facemask really helps hide this flaw because the silver rivet blends in with the silver chrome. The masks that come with Boise State collectibles are not chrome but a gray outdated bull nose style. The chrome is stunning. No wear bar has been removed. The holes left over are in the exact spot that non collectible Schutt XP’s have a chinstrap snap. I used two chinstrap snaps to fill the holes. It’s now exactly what you see on a field helmet. New hardcup Adams chinstrap. New Royal blue Nike chinstrap pad as Boise is a Nike school. Orange on clear warning decal.
